Jungen Komponist*Innen gibt Multiphonics eine Bühne und Plattform, bei der sie ihre musikalischen Talente präsentieren und weiterentwickeln können. Ein Ort des Austauschs auf Augenhöhe mit anderen Künstler*Innen und erfahrenen Profis, voller Inspiration und ein Meilenstein für die eigene professionelle musikalische Laufbahn.
Die Dokumentation begleitet den Jung-Komponisten Tao Phileas Karst und spricht mit ihm und der Pianistin Ragna Schirmer, Komponist Maximilian Otto und den Musiker*Innen Teagan Faran und William Bolles-Beaven aus New York über eigene Erfahrungen, was gute Kompositionen ausmachen und warum es wichtig ist, über den eigenen Tellerrand zu schauen.
Mit Auftritten des Ensemble Sinfonietta aus Dresden und dem OnSET Collective Manhattan.
A Musical Talent Factory
Multiphonics gives young composers a stage and platform where they can present and develop their musical talents. A place of exchange at eye level with other artists and experienced professionals, full of inspiration and a milestone for their own professional musical careers.
The documentary accompanies the young composer Tao Phileas Karst and talks to him and the pianist Ragna Schirmer, composer Maximilian Otto and the musicians Teagan Faran and William Bolles-Beaven from New York about their own experiences, what makes good compositions and why it is important to think outside the box.
With performances by the Ensemble Sinfonietta from Dresden and the OnSET Collective Manhattan.
